The computer is a secondary device when using the Irga-RV vortex flow meter (hereinafter referred to as the Irga-RV) as part of the assemblies for technological and commercial gas metering.
It is designed to calculate and store data on the parameters and amount of gas consumed.
The computer is designed to service the metering unit.
As a part of a metering unit, the computer provides:
-
calculation of temperature, pressure and volumetric flow rate of gas on the basis of data coming from the flow meter (Irga-RV; Irga-RS, Irga-RU, etc.)
-
calculation of the flow set to standard conditions;
-
cumulative calculation of gas consumed under operating and standard conditions;
-
registration of emergency situations (hereinafter referred to as the ES) of the specified types;
-
maintaining the calendar and time of day;
-
archiving consumption and gas parameters (hourly and daily depth - 4 months, monthly depth - computer in-service time);
-
event log (emergency status change; cycle archive depth - 400 entries);
-
change log (changing gas parameters, etc.); cycle archive depth - 200 entries);
-
viewing data on the LCD screen;
-
protection of parameters that affect the calculation results from unauthorized changes.
The computer is configured using a personal computer.
The computer can be used as part of an automated process control system with data transmission via communication facilities.
